I love adding a special touch to my yoga classes by providing my students with cool essential oil washcloths to lay over their eyes during savasana. While many different essential oil blends work, I prefer lavender, due to it’s relaxing properties.
What You’ll Need To Make 24 Washcloths
Fill the bowl to the halfway point with water.
Add a few drops of essential oil to the bowl & gently stir.
Submerge each cloth into the bowl until it is completely damp.
Remove the wet towels from the bowl, one at a time.
Fold each cloth in half once then roll it up, as shown.
Repeat this process.
Carefully stack the washcloths into a neat pile.
Store overnight in the freezer, or in the refrigerator to make cool compresses.
Transport using a freezer lunch pack if you will not be using them at home. I bring them to yoga class for my students.
