Setting the tone for your day is an extremely important to do first thing in the morning. Better yet, doing so is completely in your control. This video is super short, and will only consume 5-minutes of your day. Awaken and energize while cultivating contagious positive energy that will stay with you long after this flow is over. Lengthen and strengthen your entire body, allowing you to go about your day with ease.
Do What Feels Good
As always, it is important to listen to your own body. Yoga instructors offer guidance but their cues are not meant to be demanding. While pushing yourself to your edge will encourage growth, pushing past your edge can quickly put you in the danger zone. In addition to making sure that you are never feeling sharp pain, it is also great to move your body organically. For example, if you find yourself wanting to circle your upper body around your hips when in a seated position, do that! Your body knows best.

Consistency Is Key
When making any positive life change or implementing any new habit, consistency is the key to success. Practicing yoga for 5 minutes each day is much more beneficial than doing so once a week, for an hour at a time. Soon your body will adapt, and even crave this new ritual.
Flow At Your Own Pace
Feel free to spend as long as you’d like in any particular pose. Typically, yoga classes lead you through a sequence of poses. The idea of “one breath, one movement," is at the core of Vinyassa yoga. Once again, only you know how you feel. It is extremely common for our bodies to be imbalanced. Yoga is a wonderful way to restore the equilibrium that our bodies crave. I encourage you to be mindful of this. Perhaps spend a little more time on whichever side is tighter, for example, giving yourself the TLC that you deserve.
